Great point! The tyranny of "perfection" can be paralyzing. We're human beings working with other human beings. The imperfections can work to create a more interpersonal relationship among virtual learners.

Exporting as a video, where do you need to post this for students? Don't think you can post a video to Moodle depending on how large the video file is.

The size issue is worse if you have a lot of photos in your slideshow - so if you narrate a lot, just use less photos

compress the photos and re-save the ppt before adding narration

Another option for PowerPoint is to save as a .pptx. It's a format that just allows the student to "play" the presentation and keeps the size smaller (compresses automatically). This is how I post my presentations

Nearpod is used widely in P-12 classrooms right now when instruction is online. It is very easy to use.

I had students do intro videos and post in padlet in my MBA course.
